The Digital Switch over

The digital switch over has started in some parts of the UK and will be completed in late 2012, when the analogue TV signal will be switched off.

Freeview is already available throughout most of the UK and is giving users access to a huge variety of digital TV channels all of which are free. To receive Freeview you will need a digital ready television or a set top box. In most cases a new digital compatible aerial will also be required.

Can I Receive Freeview?

You can check if Freeview Digital TV is available where you live by using the official digital TV post code checking system. Even if it says you can't receive freeview, call us. PVS specialises in providing solutions in weak signal areas. Using the latest test equipment and many years of experience in aerial installations, we may still be able to help you receive digital Freeview TV.

Freeview HD

Freeview now offer a high definition service. Freeview HD will be available in areas where the switch over has happened. To receive and benefit from the improved High Definition signal you will require a HD compatible television, together with a Freeview HD set top box, or a Freeview HD integrated Digital TV.
